A wonderful sequel to the very loved novel ‘It Ends with Us’ by Collen Hoover.

‘It Starts with Us’ was never Hoover’s idea in first place but something that came up from the millions of petitions online from readers who demanded a sequel to the bestseller ‘It Ends with Us’. It takes off from where the earlier novel left.

Lily Bloom, who is now a single mother to her daughter, Emerson. Lily is still struggling to come to terms with the abuse she suffered at the hands of her ex-husband, Ryle Kincaid. She is also trying to build a new life for herself and Emerson, with the help of her new boyfriend, Atlas.

One of the things I appreciated most about the book was the way Hoover handled the topic of abuse. She did not shy away from the difficult subject matter, but she also handled it with sensitivity and compassion. She showed the devastating effects of abuse on both the victim and the abuser, and she offered hope for healing and recovery.

I also liked the way Hoover developed the characters of Lily and Atlas. Lily is a strong and resilient woman who is determined to create a better life for herself and her daughter. Atlas is a kind and caring man who is patient and understanding with Lily. They have a genuine connection, and I rooted for them to find happiness together.

Overall, I thought “It Starts With Us” was a well-written and emotionally impactful novel. It is a story that will stay with me for a long time, and I highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys romance novels with a bit of a dark edge.

If you are looking for a book that will make you laugh, cry, and think, then I highly recommend “It Starts With Us”. It is a powerful and moving story that will stay with you long after you finish reading it.
